The Northern School of Naturopathy was established by an associated group of practicing naturopaths to propagate the skills required to apply naturopathy effectively and safely. Their accumulated skills embrace all the major disciplines of naturopathy. The School is based in Nothumbria but course facilities are widely available throughout the North of England.

Where applicable The Northern School of Naturopathy course conforms to the EC Core Curriculum or the National Core Curriculum and is in a modular format which facilitates easy access for the student and allows them to progressively develop strong foundational skills. Each module combines theory studies with practical classes in diagnosis and treatment.
The School operates a policy of supported learning.

The course includes an introduction to the diagnostic practice of iridology. An additional course which covers the subject in depth is also available.
Courses are primarily aimed at those wishing to become Practitioners but are open to everybody and will be of particular interest to those who wish to take a naturopathic interest in the health of their own families and friends, those who work or would like to work within the health industry. And those who just want to develop their naturopathic skills.
